With a focus on Pilates, mobility, barre, athletic therapy, nutrition and mindful practices, we bring together skilled instructors who care deeply about alignment, education, and community.

Taylor Quast
Owner, Instructor | Certified STOTT Pilates, Injuries & Special Populations, Progressing Ballet Technique, B.Comm.
Taylor is a Certified STOTT Pilates Instructor with over 26 years of experience in dance and more than a decade dedicated to teaching movement.
With a foundation in RAD Ballet, she brings artistry, precision, and a deep understanding of movement into every class she teaches.
Her extensive training includes advanced coursework in anatomy, postnatal recovery, fascial movement, and Injuries & Special Populations, allowing her to support clients with diverse needs and goals.
She brings love, understanding, and knowledge to every session, creating a safe and empowering environment for all movers...and laughs too.
Beyond her client work, Taylor has a profound passion for educating movement professionals. As an Instructor Trainer with Yoga Life: Beyond Anatomy, she has guided aspiring teachers through anatomy and movement education since 2023.
Her goal is not only to lead movers through transformative Pilates experiences but also to equip instructors with the knowledge to support clients of all abilities.
Taylor founded MNDFL Movement Studio to create a space where community and connection thrive — a supportive environment where every person is seen, heard, and encouraged to build strength and confidence.
Her approach is inclusive and evidence-based, making Pilates accessible to everyone, from athletes to new moms to those recovering from injuries.
Her professional journey is complemented by her personal one — as a proud mother of three, an outdoor enthusiast, and a lifelong learner.
Over the past eight years, she has worked with a wide range of clients, including dancers, athletes, individuals living with chronic pain, and people navigating rehabilitation and recovery.
Taylor’s mission is clear: to help people unlock the potential of movement to support every stage of life — building strength, resilience, and confidence that extends far beyond the studio.

Laurel Quast
Manager, Instructor | STOTT Pilates & The Pilates Studio of Los Angeles
Laurel is a dedicated Pilates instructor and studio manager whose passion for movement began right here at MNDFL.
Introduced to Pilates by her sister-in-law, she quickly discovered how transformative the practice could be. Inspired by this, Laurel completed her STOTT Pilates Essential & Intermediate Reformer training and has since pursued continuing education in anatomy and evidence-based Pilates methods.
With a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta and over a decade of experience teaching elementary school, Laurel brings clarity, patience, and a love of learning into every class. Her background in education allows her to connect deeply with clients, creating an inclusive and encouraging environment where movers of all levels feel supported and confident.
As both an instructor and manager, Laurel plays a key role in fostering the sense of community that MNDFL is built on. She is committed to ensuring that every client walking through the doors feels seen, heard, and welcomed.
Outside of the studio, Laurel is a proud mom of three, an avid runner, and a skincare enthusiast — often arriving with a Starbucks in hand . Her ability to balance family, fitness, and leadership reflects the same energy and dedication she brings to her classes.
Laurel is passionate about helping clients discover their own strength and joy through Pilates, and she can’t wait to welcome you to the reformer.

Marianne Aumais
Instructor, Personal Trainer | Certified Barre Specialist, CanFit Pro Fitness & Personal Training, Sport Studies & Psychology (B.A.)
Marianne has been a fitness instructor since 2012, beginning her career after competing in artistic gymnastics. Her journey led her from the gymnastics floor to the fitness centre, where she fell in love with group training and movement education. She holds a double major in Sport Studies and Psychology from Bishop’s University (2016) and has over a decade of experience coaching gymnastics, personal training, and leading group fitness classes.
Her goal is simple: to help every client enjoy movement, unlock their power, and feel strong at every stage of their fitness journey. Marianne believes there’s always an option for every level, and her classes reflect her inclusive, encouraging approach.
She is certified in Barre (Levels 1 & 2, Pre & Post Natal), Personal Training (CanFit Pro), Fitness Instructor Specialist, TRX, BOSU, Spinning, and has advanced training in mobility, pregnancy & postpartum exercise, conditioning for young athletes, and nutrition. She continues to expand her expertise with certifications in Essentrics, Foam Rolling, and advanced mobility training.
When she’s not teaching, Marianne is a busy mom to three little ones, finding joy in balancing family life with her passion for fitness and education.

Nye Gordan
Instructor | Comprehensively Trained & Certified Pilates Instructor, Personal Trainer
With over 500 hours of comprehensive Pilates training, Nye is a certified Pilates instructor that is certified to teach on the Reformer, Mat, Springboard, Ladder Barrel, Chair, Spine Corrector and Cadillac. As an experienced personal fitness trainer who brings a deep understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, injury rehabilitation, strength training, and functional movement to her practice. Her journey into Pilates began as a solution for a persistent elbow injury—and the transformation was undeniable. Pilates not only healed her injury but became the foundation for her strength and ease in movement, enhancing everything she loves, from weight training and running to hiking and beyond.
Passionate about the synergy of strength and flexibility, Nye specializes in guiding clients of all fitness levels—from beginners to advanced athletes—including those overcoming physical limitations or recovering from injuries. Using a science-backed approach, she leverages her expertise in biomechanics to help clients build strength, improve posture, and move with greater confidence.
Whether leading dynamic group classes or offering personalized private sessions, Nye creates a supportive and motivating environment where clients can achieve sustainable health and fitness success and have some fun and laughs while at it.

Tamara LeBlanc
Instructor | Fitness & Nutrition Coach | Certified Pilates, Group Fitness & Personal Training
Tamara has made fitness a cornerstone of her life from an early age. As a lifelong runner, she discovered how Pilates provided the perfect complement to her training — building strength, balance, and resilience. This discovery deepened her passion for helping others create sustainable, well-rounded approaches to health and movement.
With a background as a Fitness and Nutrition Coach, Tamara has extensive experience in group fitness, personal training, and spin instruction, and has recently added Mat Pilates (Levels 1 & 2) to her teaching toolkit. This combination allows her to guide clients through a whole-body approach to wellness that integrates strength, mobility, and balance.
For Tamara, fitness is about more than workouts — it’s about building confidence, cultivating resilience, and supporting lasting health.
She brings empathy and understanding to her coaching, using both her wins and struggles to better connect with and inspire her clients.
Her mission is clear: to empower others to feel stronger, healthier, and more confident in their bodies — and to create an environment where every person feels supported on their journey.

Catalina Cortes
Certified Reformer Pilates Instructor, Holistic Nutritionist, and Community Builder
Catalina’s passion is helping people feel strong, balanced, and confident through mindful movement and nourishing practices.
With a background in athletics, personal training and teaching reformer Pilates, she blends strength, mobility, and mindfulness to create classes that are challenging yet accessible to all levels.
As a holistic nutritionist, Catalina brings a well-rounded approach to health and wellness, empowering clients both inside and outside of the studio.
Outside of Pilates, you’ll find her creating and hosting wellness events across Edmonton, doing yoga, teaching nutrition to clients online, enjoying outdoor adventures with her family, or exploring new ways to connect people through community and movement.

Deeanne Vaughn
Certified Yoga & Barre Instructor
Deeanne discovered barre over eight years ago and was instantly hooked by the power of mind-to-muscle connection.
The small, intentional movements not only transformed her body, but also brought a deeper sense of focus and strength to her mind. That experience inspired her to become a barre instructor, with the goal of helping students recognize how rewarding mindful movement can be.
As both a barre and yoga teacher—and a lifelong mover who also loves playing soccer—Deeanne brings an approachable yet empowering energy to her classes. She is a proud mom of two girls and understands the importance of carving out time for yourself. For her, there’s nothing quite like watching a student light up when they feel their own strength for the first time, or witnessing someone push past “I can’t” and discover that they can. In every class, she holds space for self-discovery, resilience, and growth—helping students build both physical strength and inner confidence.
When she’s not in the studio she is working in oil & gas industry, playing soccer, spending quality time with her two girls, forever fiancé and two Rottweilers.

Christy Hive
200 HR YTT | 50hr Rocket Yoga | Mat Pilates | Certified Personal Trainer | Holistic Nutritionist
Christy has been naturally active her whole life and has worked professionally in the fitness industry for nearly twenty years. Her passion for movement led her to become a Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine, followed by certification as a Holistic Nutritionist through the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition (CSNN) in Edmonton.
After experiencing a serious injury in 2012, Christy discovered yoga as a path to healing. She soon completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Empowered Yoga, and 50hr training in Rocket yoga.
She is currently immersed in a comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training program, continually expanding her knowledge and skills, and adding a new layer of depth to her fitness and wellness journey.
Christy’s classes are fun, energetic, and empowering—blending strength, flexibility, and confidence-building in a supportive and encouraging environment. Outside the studio, she is a mama to two energetic kids and being an active part of their lives.

Brooke Jensen
Certified Athletic Therapist | Canadian Pro Rodeo Sport Medicine Team
Combining functional movement assessment, neuroscience, and performance therapy, I can help people navigate the journey from injury, pain, and limitation to freedom of motion and return to life.
I believe that when you have greater expressions of movement, you are able to have a greater expression of yourself as an amazing human being.
When not in the studio, you can find me at the rodeo arena as a part of the Canadian Pro Rodeo Sport Medicine Team. I also enjoy time with my own horse, being outdoors, attending Pilates, and learning more ways to help people move better.
She’ll be offering one-on-one appointments in our Wellness Room, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome her to the MNDFL team.
What is Athletic Therapy?
Athletic Therapy focuses on the prevention, assessment, and treatment of injuries to muscles, bones, and joints. Brooke also integrates neuroscience-based techniques to help retrain the body and nervous system, supporting recovery, mobility, and overall performance.
This means her sessions aren’t just about treating injuries — they’re about helping your body and brain work together so you can move with more confidence, strength, and ease.
We’re thrilled to bring Brooke’s expertise and care to our movers through these incredible services!

Lindsey Zook
Instructor, Mom to two beautiful boys, Professional Engineer, and Barre Specialist
Lindsey grew up in rural New Brunswick, competing in artistic gymnastics before moving into dance and discovering her passion for teaching. When her career brought her west in 2010, she was introduced to barre and instantly fell in love with the strength and precision of those small but powerful movements. She later completed her barre instructor training in Calgary, with a focus on prenatal and postpartum fitness.
With an empathetic nature and strong sense of body awareness, Lindsey adapts her classes to meet movers where they are, creating a supportive, challenging, and fun environment. She believes barre is for everyone — no matter your background — and that movement should always feel empowering.
Expect high energy, good humour, and sick beats every time you step into her class!!
